Camo Paint Job
After being driven through 8 winter's worth of salt, the body needed some serious work. I was tired of the metallic blue so I figure that if it was going to be repainted, I might as well change colors. I always felt that Jeeps look best in nature colors, especially in camouflage. So I looked over at my model of a Russian MI-24 Hind helicopter and thought 'That's IT!'.
I made some drawings and brought paint samples to the body shop. As you can see, they made an excellent job and I was very happy with it. The automotive colors used were Toyota Tan and Skoda Brown and the clear coat is satin so it looks better than army paint but isn't all shiny.
