June 7 Gorge Run

I'm starting this thread for info on the Sunday run to the Gorge that's coming up. Last time we met at the start of Lower Spruce Hedge Road. There is often a meeting at Zellers in Bell's Corners, and it seems like for this run, that group should leave an hour before the meeting time. I'm not sure who the run leader is, if it's you, speak up here!

Yep,
Nice thing about the gorge is you get to pick your obstacle as they are all off the trail.

No issue with bringing SOs, the more the merrier.

a couple of us from up here in pet are thinking of coming, we can meet you at the trail head but what's the timing for meeting at the trail?

I think 10:00 is good. That's about what time we met up last time, and we got done at a good time. I know the runs often start earlier than that, if anyone is concerned about getting done sooner, speak up.

As far as stock friendly, we have a 2" lift and 31's and we had some very minor scraping, so anything less than that and you might need a little help over one section, but other than that it's easy if you want it to be.

2 weeks ago (with a 10:00 start) i was home by supper and that's with about one hours drive home.

We sat around until about 10:30 before starting and we were done around 3:30 pm.

Hey all I am in!! What time are we meeting in Bell's Corner? Matt, Laura wants to know if you want to come for dinner after!!

Yes I am planning on being there, can't commit to leading as I have had my truck apart since Sunday night, but mostly back together tonight. As soon as I know for sure I will post.
Ty leading with Matt spotting should be good but who else is going that has experience spotting to help Matt as some of the obstacles (stock trucks do not need to do these) could get you into trouble without proper spotting?

For those who plan on trailering their rig, there is a spot to park on Burnstown Rd, between Burnstown and Lower Spruce Hedge Rd, on the right (West) side. I think it's called Mervin Lane.
