Is anybody going to this? Did anybody go to the last one? Does the Tuff Truck/Obstacle course have mud on it?

http://www.wheelsachurnin.com/info.html

I just talked to Chad at National. He says it is very dry and not much mud and they are not sure if the well there will have enough mud to make it wet. I said that would be fine with all of us rock crawlers. What is supposedly new is that they will not be letting anybody drive around at all anymore unless on the way to an event. I...

Alright I was just looking at the thread that Andries put up from the spring.

http://ovo.ca/forums/showthread.php?5577-North-Augusta-Obstacle-Course&highlight=churnin

So come on you slightly modified guys, I don't believe Andries is running lockers and he had a good time. Again when I talked to Brad from N4WD he said they didn't know if they were going to have enough water for our course, perfect I say lol.
I am hoping that is going to be worth it but also considering if we don't go to the obstacle part it will just die instead of getting better. I am trying to get 10 trucks that we know to show and that will probably be enough to fill 3 classes plus whoever just shows up and then it would be fun. If I can get that many I am going to talk to N4WD about a 35 and under, under 42 and over 42. Then hopefully they will make it even better for September especially if we give them input.
This a points competition with cones so you don't have to be beating on your truck against time. Just some good spotting. I will volunteer to spot any of you 35 and under guys if that makes you more comfortable.

Matt? Logan? Dan? Tony? Any of you other new guys that want to try out your trucK? Let's do this

I'm less than 15 minutes away on 33's now and wanting to give the new lift a good work out.

I'll make one day or the other - wife wants to hit a water park on the day it 'doesn't' rain so I'll be there depending on when the weather blows thru if at all.

Hell yeah, count me in, sounds like fun, and it's different.

Hope I can fix my rear locker before then. It's driveable, however, I'd go anyway.

I can't make it up there Friday night, though. I'd camp on Saturday. For camping, do you just show up and put a stake in the ground, or do you have to book a site? (I didn't see anything about this on their site).

Might need to borrow a helmet, if my Dad's ATV helmet doesn't fit.

Ill be there again this time. Andries and i cleaned up at the last one lol. National did a good job of putting this on in June. Was fun for a nice little course. The park is going to really be keeping an eye on anyone getting out of control from what i hear, so it should be a good weekend. As for camping you can just set up where ever isnt already taken. Hope to see a good turn out there.

Camping is first come first serve, that being said Brad says that we will be assigned our camping near our event and as there are not many of us and our obstacle course is off to the side it should be no problem. Marek and I are planning on arriving Friday as early as we can. Actually Connie would like me to leave early on Friday so "we get a good spot". As we confirm who is definitely going we will make sure to save spots.

Brad says they will have an assortment of helmets to use.

I agree with the possible mehhh but if we don't go and support it then it can never get better. Spectators do count as support. I don't even really have time now as it looks like I am going to RC the long weekend but am still going up Friday to at least run Saturday to show support.

What time are the obstacle course runs supposed to start? I'm going to try to make it for Sunday but I probably won't enter. It'd be nice if there was a bunny hill for us stock guys.

What events could I enter my stock YJ in? I never been to one of these events. From the sounds of it the mud hole might not be to deep.

How different was the buggy/unlimited course? I'm presuming everything in the pics/vids was 35 or under.
