Swap the gear oil in the diffs... This is just security to save a possibility of water making things bad... also if water can get in there... so can dirt...
Change all the fluids (engine oil, trans fluid, gear oil) and all should be ok as you inspect things at the same time.
Thats what ya get when ya play in the mud :)

Looking at the pics it doesn't look like the diffs or the rest of the drivetrain really went deep, so all I recommend is looking in the diffs through the filler plug to check for water/dirt contamination.

As Richard said, it doesn't look like you got deep enough to really get any water in to the diffs or elsewhere. That being said, the cost of gear oil is very cheap peace of mind if you're concerned at all.

I think i might just do it this week end, at least in the diff for now, but the weird this in my power sterring started to make noise after only at idle, wondering if its air that got it from the angle it sat in

id just be checking ur oils for disclolouration or any gunk before u change it all. if its dirty then change it out. if its still clean ur good to go. as for the power steering, those new JK's are terrible for power steering pumps... all the guys i run with have gone through afew as soon as you start trying to turn the tires back and forth while in the mud. just a an idea

if the 07 is like the 04 the air vent for the front diff is in the front left corner near or on the top of rad support, looks like you are safe not sure of the rear, as for the PS probably just some dirt around the pump/belt.

Mudlite, what I was on is a road allowance near my house not even close to the city of Ottawa. It's not a trail, so dont be so quick to judge. I had been on that same "road" on my ATV less than a week before and it was solid, so what I ended up in in my jeep was a surprise.

Mud lite has reason to vent, we have had too many people getting out there and fucking up the trails. Pardon his rant but it is well justified. Note he mentioned the Ministry of Natural Resources. Some of the good trails are outside of Ottawa and we want to keep them accessible.
On a side note, I hope you weren't all going by yourselves and had a buddy there.

What everyone is saying is to use common sense - say that a farmer/neighbour/someone uses that road allowance to access their property, and when they come back in a few weeks (when it's dry and good to go), it's all rutted to rat shit from folks tearing it up. What kind of impression does that make on them? How likely are they to complain? The city/township/whatever owns those road allowances, and can close them at any time to public use (see big Carp thread in the Land Use section). By waiting until the road has dried up, you prevent the rutting/destruction and everyone is happy. In looking at the pictures posted, there was some pretty major damage done to the road, and it will take a fair bit to fix - will you be going back to repair it? Was it in that condition before you drove down it? Does anyone use that road?

Make sense?

You can "drive" down any public road you like...
Lets say you have a high horse power 66 mustang... Just cause it has the power... are you allowed to smaoke the tires off on the street in front of your house? Of course NOT... This is similar to what you are showing us... What YOU are saying to the rest of the world is this... "I saw mud... So I hit it... And it's on an Unassumed Road"
What we are saying is this... Save our trails... Save them for winter use by the sleds as well... And we can all have great community relations as well.

This is why alot of people are trying to educate others that whatever we do has pro's and cons... The unfortunate part is this... The general public never looks at the "pro's" of the situation and only see the "con's" and uses these con's against our fine sport.
Save the mud runs for private property as the general public could care less unless you are killing small endangered wood land creatures that are in you way.

MUD RUNNING IS FOR PRIVATE LANDS

Be aware and learn from this so we can have our wonderful sport and trails for the future and we can share them with our kids as well.

I understand, now that road was already like that when i went on it and i tried to go around the hole because i didnt know how deep it was but the jeep lost traction on the clay and slip in, and got stuck for the rest of the road, its just a clay road and exept for lil puddle of water and mud flying of the tires thats all i do on my way to my parents but i will stop

I agree with what is being said, but look at the pictures do we really think that this Jeep made that hole, I dont think he went looking for the deepest mud pit he could find it just happend and with everyone jumping on the you shouldn't do that wagoon his back is up and he is defending his actions... I really who cares if he went out by himself, did he come on here looking for help no. I went out this weekend alone, seen some nice trails but stayed away because they looked wet, there alot of unassumed roads that are totally dry for driving on now, its just nice to get out on the back roads after along winter of being stuck in the house. Im condoning tearing up the trails, but sometimes hold just appear, then you dissappear.
