Project: TJ cage build

Till Valhalla!
So i have decided to start a build thread for JP as we are building a full cage for it. This design will be as simple as possible, the plan is to have it done for Rausch Creek.

This is the jeep as it is now, JP had some clutch problems and wasn't able to make for spring fever, those problems are now fixed and now it's time for some protection.

cage is done, now all that is left is the frame tie-ins, we actually got 90% of them mocked up before we called it quits for the day. We tossed the spare on and tossed the seats back in just to get an appreciation of what the finished product will be, suspension seats and harnesses are on the way...

Finished! just added some gussets and tied the cage into the frame in 6 places (that was easier to do then i originally thought). I didn't take any pics but we're tossing some paint on it on thursday so i'll take some finished pics then. Almost ready for Rausch Creek!

So JP hauled the cage out of the jeep to finish welding some hard to get at spots, tonight he will start slopping paint on it, i'll post up some pics from saturday as he should be out at the gorge.
