Sooo.... What's the plan, who's all going? Where is everyone meeting? I stoped reading after the 4 first ppl started debating on how far this is.

Thanks for the kind words.
Right now we don't know where he is. We are feeding him a liquid diet as two of the meds he is on cause appetite loss. We are also giving him electrolites as he has diarrhea from two other meds. We started getting worried as he started drooling and then found out the first two meds have that as a side effect. He is on 7 different meds with varying side effects that we don't know if there is any improvement at all. Every couple hours he goes from seeming to perk up to sleeping. It's only been a couple of days since the worst of it and it is going to take weeks before we see any significant improvement. He doesn't seem to be suffering just lethargic and weak and super skinny (that's from the Prednisone)

Unfortunately at 5PM today we had to let him go. At noon he started to crash. He stopped taking in food and his gums and tongue turned white (which is a sign of shock or possibly internal bleeding). He became completely withdrawn and was really weak. He wouldn't come and we had to basically carry him. We took him to the vet who said that although he wasn't in any pain he was definitely starting to suffer from the heavy medication he was on. With the turn for the worst at that point we decided it was time and let him out of all of this. I am going to miss my sweet little boy and seeing his triangle head in the door when I come home (thanks Andrew it stuck after you said it).

Hey Chris. I'm sorry for your guys loss. I know how tough it is. At least he's not suffering anymore.

Sorry to hear Chris.
Ditto to the above comments, sorry Chris, it's never easy. With Cotton being fresh in my mind, I know what you're going through. Go do some wheeling, it'll be a good way to reflect on what is important to you, and it'll help relieve some of the stress/emotions.

naww it was the GF's first time on a trail and wanted to keep as much as quiet as possible.
Good thing is she likes it although she has also stated "NOT with my JK" The bad is It is now going to mean i always have company with me and i now have to put my back seat in for when the kids are down and want to join!
she sees it as more money and i see it as something to do in the garage lol...
but all in all it was a good fun day, got to put some faces to names and meet some new ppl... thanks for the invite! see yas on the trails again I hope!

dont worry about it. you have had some pretty heavy stuff happening in your life right now.
plenty of season left when u r ready im sure there will be runs to go on!
