Gorge run

Hey I recently bought a 2012 wrangler and I'm interested in getting into offroading. I heard the gorge trail is perfect for beginners and I'm
looking for someone to show me the ropes. I'm hoping to get out sometime in August or September if anyone is interested.

I'd be in late August/Beginning September but chances are something will happen before that.
Oh and welcome to the forum.

I'm hoping to make it back to the Gorge before summer is out. Loved it when I went last year. Problem is finding a weekend that's not busy. Right now second weekend in Sept and later is looking free for me.

What's a good date for everyone?

I put my name up to lead a run, gorge would be a good one. Stock friendly and knarly enough to soil your shorts, if you so choose.

How about the 18-19 or 24-25?

I'd be good for Sat or Sun for those two weekends. The weekend after the 24-25 is a long weekend, so there might be a Quinn/Crag camping weekend going on.

I am thinking the 24-25 may be good for me. Will have to check.
Update: The 24th is good but the 25th is not.

Just realized the 24th is a Friday. I assume we meant 25-26th. In that case the 26th is good for me.

Trail up near the dam in Calabogie.

It's not really stock friendly, 31's and a couple inches is a good starting point. Full day trail with a few options as far as the exit. Most people go in the back door then out the Pinion Pass.
