Hello,

I have some leaks on rear side axle seal. Is it easy to do or have to go expensive mechanic? Also do i have to replace bearing or can i bypass by replacing just a seal?

Thanks

Easy,
Pull diff cover off, remove center pin, push both axles inward to remove c-clips, remove axles, pop seals out, install new seals, slip axles back in, install c-clips, install center pin, clean cover and housing surfaces, apply RTV, install cover, and fill with your favorite gear oil, 1.5 liters or so

Do it now because later has a bad habit of becoming never

as far as the bearings go you can pop them out with a slide hammer. Are the bearings fawked?

Ok so that weld trick to remove the race is very cool and I will use that some day, but not relevant unless for some reason a non C-clip style Dana35 has been swapped into this TJ.
I found a picture online to clarify for the OP,

Yeah but this reminded me when I had to do that my 8.8 i replaced everything, using a slide hammer made it relatively easy but if i had known about the welding trick it would have made it even easier.

Ah, I presumed they were Suzuki style and pressed on the shaft. My bad.
