09 fall RC trip

Had a quick email from Steve and looks like the trip to Rausch Creek this fall will be 15-18 oct, anyone else going?

Yup, I'm here and leading, will meet and leave in usual spot, Hwy 416 at Bankfield exit 1pm Thursday Oct 15th, will meet up with George at the border at 2:15ish, couple of fuel/food stops and arrive at RC around 9. Wheel Fri, and Sat, parade and party at O'Neil's Sat nite, pack up and head home 9ish on Sunday. Oh yeah, I left out the best part......watch me trash my truck.....notch, here I come!

I'm Out. There has been a family emergency and I can't justify taking off for four days right now :(

Alright Mike, see ya in a week, safe driving and remember we probably won't get there till 9......we'll try our best to arrive earlier but no promises.

As much as I was looking forward to this trip, I have to back out. I don't want to drive down tomorrow in freezing rain conditions, especially at night. Just too much at stake. I apologize for any inconvience I may have caused.

At this time of year, I'll only go if the weather is good. So, I can't commit until a few days prior. It was -5?C and snowing in hazleton last evening, who would have thought?
