Is there any reason to go with one over the other?

14bolt without question.

Side Bearing adjuster's built into the housing for adjusting back lash without using those stupid fawking shims
Extra bearing on the end of the pinion to eliminate pinion deflection
Removable pinion out the front of the housing.
Cool keyway/snap ring dealy for the wheel bearing nut.
Carrier splits in half making it easy to design a locker, therefore making it cheaper to buy a locker for (Just got a Yukon Grizzly for mine, $390.00)
Stronger - Cheaper - better :)

14b is cheaper, stronger and easier to find. Compare the pinion between the two especially, and the 14b is much stronger. With all of the different shave kits available, ground clearance issues are a thing of the past as well. Under 40's, and I'd consider the 60 if it was available, but bigger than that (or any real power), and the 14b is a no brainer to me.

Well I would have to say u should just stick to the 35 for now not like your wheeling it:stir::stir:

I can see tim finding one already prebuilt. The amount of parts he scores online is astounding.

Good luck with the hunt!
