Sweeeeeet shop brother! Is that a brake I spy over in the corner? What's the capacity? Oh and good work rescuing the ol'runner. I want to experiment with Alu bumpers too but can't find anyone willing to pay the premium...yet. Those clearance lights are definitely unique [emoji6]

It's a 10' 110 ton box and pan
Aluminum I've found to be just as easy to work with. Lighter And faster grinding when using wax.

The wax technique I'll have to check out. I've just been using the Alu specific grinding discs from Linde, kinda have a honeycomb pattern, Walters I think. Work well enough.

Check out cubitron by 3m
They are AMAZING
if you use alumicool cutting wax at the very end. Rub it on welds and use a flap disk. Takes me 15 min to grind a bumper

40 lbs...holy crap!!!!

Ah ok too bad the wax won't work on steel. But I am going to invest in some of those discs. Where is the best place to buy them that you've found (availability of stock and price). Yeah the cheapies get 'filled' quickly for sure.
