2011 Hunting Season Dates

So if I am reading this right (and I don't think I am), we don't run from Mid Oct to End Nov as that covers Turkey, Black Bear and Deer? Or do we really only care about Deer?

We care about not gettin shot at so IMO... leave the hunters alone...
I know if I was in my tree stand and some one wheelin came through my shootin lane I would be pretty upset as my hunt would be done for the day...
Besides... After Nov 11 wheelin season (kinda) comes to a close to allow the OFSC to start grooming trails for the snowmobile season.

For the most part, you should consider calabogie off limits during hunting season. There are a lot of hunt camps up there. Trails like Carp, burntlands, etc should be fine, I may schedule one in October, we will see. Powerlines will be fine during bow season as well.

Another big reason we stay off during gun season is it's short and we want to let those guys (and gals?) enjoy their sport while they can. We get the trails for most of the year.
