This year's OVO safety course and information session will be held on Saturday, May 4th, starting 10 am, Carp fairground parking lot. http://maps.google.ca/maps?q=carp+fa...15000&t=m&z=16
The course consists of two parts - Theory - about 1 hour and will be held on the parking lot; and Practice - 1 h. as well, which will be held in the beginning of Carp trail. After the course we usually do a trail run in Carp trail, which is not a part of the course but is a good chance to apply...

This is great for the new people, it is a very informative day. I suggest the new guys (and gals if there are any!) take part, even if you don't plan to become an official member some day.

Ummm. 35" tires and not lifted enough? j/k:)
Fenders are on. Who knows I might make it.

X2 for new people going. It is really informative and should be a must to go to

How many more people did you need to run the course? I was thinking of coming, but I wanted to put my tires on tonight, at which point I was going to confirm attendance.

rf2 if you want to do a quick trail run let me know. I'm set to go, but would like 2 or more guys to make it worth it.

If you need safety training i guess i can show a few tricks. Probably not as good if a lesson as our Russian safety master.

I was hoping to catch at least the theory portion...set off for Carp and about 5 mins down the road one of my rear wheel cylinders blew on me. Mitko - I'd be interested in attending if you get enough participants to reschedule.

I wouldn't mind attending if it's resched. I've been messing around with winches and stuff long enough to be dangerous because of faulty memory, laziness, etc.
