Looking for a set of four 245/75/16 or 265/75/16 tires with decent tread. Would also consider a pair of 245s.
Anyone got a set taking up room in the garage?

You could come out to my place on the weekend. Saturday is going to be a dirty day so maybe Sunday?

LMK and I'll PM directions.

I've been busy lately, it won't be this weekend.

What is the rubber compound like? These will mostly see the street. I've run BFG MTs and MTRs before and was satisfied with them. Are they similar to these or more like the rest of the Swampers and on the softer side? BTW, would be mounted on a '01 F150

Not trying to kill a sale but shouldn't you be looking for 8 or 10 ply rates side walls iff your going to be towing? I know when the garage screwed up on the van and installed 8 ply instead of the 10 that was on it, it was night and day. The back wanders and took some getting used to. Also the Truxus are a soft tire and you will burn them up in short order on a full size. I would spend the extra couple hundred and go new 10 ply rated LT tire.

:smokin:

I spoke with Frisby about this issue (prior to starting this thread). I was considering the 6 ply Goodyear Silent Armour LT265/75R16. The 10ply is WAY too much tire for this truck, I had 10ply on the Duramax and it had more than twice the capacity of this F150. Their reccomendation to me was to get the P265s and not the LT. They said it is the same tire except the lettering on the side and the P series is actually rated with a higher capacity than the 6 ply LT because the DOT has different regulations for the different class. So it is the same tire, cheaper, snd to top it off, the P series has road hazard! I'm just looking for options rather than spending $1000 on tires for the F150 that I'd rather spend on the Yota.

If the Trxus is a soft (worse than BFG MT or MTR) than thanks Chris but I should pass.

No worries, for your intended usage you don't want my tires.

Yes, Truxus are a soft tire. You don't want them for something you plan to tow with. I thought you were looking at an interm Yota tire while you build your rig, which the Truxus would have been perfect for.
