3/16" steel to build a skid

I have no underbody protection on my truck and need to build something under there. Starting in front of the front diff/engine, connected to the xmemb. Nothing special. Need maybe a piece 3'x3' or so.

Anyone have some lying around that I could take off your hands for a few bucks? I'll confirm needed amounts by PM.

If not, where is the 'best' place in town to buy some? West end.

Loucon is in the west end but there is a place on the east that is open on weekends.

I would check out cohen and Cohen. They usually have used pieces cheap.

4'x8' sheet of 3/16" steel is about $200 from Metal Supermarket. They're open until 2pm on Saturdays I think.
