So have been hearing a tapping sound from engine almost all the time now so i finally broke down to have a look thinking maybe a cracked manifold (have heard similar sound caused by that) but was not the case. The pulley on my water pump has excessive play in it but i needed a water pump anyways as it has had a slow leak. My question is the pulley/bearing seperate from the pump or would replacing the pump also cure this issue? Dont want to buy it and get it all back together to discover the...
