Well my POS Ford with only 90000 miles on it started putting diesel into my antifreeze on the weekend and it is either the injector cups/caps/sleeves or a crack in the head, I chose injectors as I am an optimist. So being that my good friend Dirk has just had a close encounter with such fun stuff we decided to replace my injector cups and o-rings. If he does a few more of these maybe he can even be certifed....or is it that he will be certifiable lol.

Crap! Is this a common problem with the 7.3L or something??!
Hopefully my buddy's truck doesnt have this issue anytime soon!

These threads are also getting me rethinking the bulletproofness of the 7.3's, especially with only 90000 miles.

Just an update.
Thanks to Dirk first of all. The two of us got it torn apart and back together in about 10 hours. We finished last Wednesday and I took it to the meeting. I have been running straight water and sunlight soap to combat the diesel attacking my rubber hoses. I dropped it on Saturday and what came out was all full of suds which is a good sign. I will run the soap mix a few more days this week and then drop and replace with antifreeze. Good thing for the warm weather.
