Anyone have a good place that doesnt' charge through the nose for air conditioning service in a vehicle? My grand cherokee's ac I think is done and would liek to get it checked as to where it's leaking from.

Probably a distance from you but the guy at the little shop across from the Civitan club / firehall in Almonte is pretty decent. He didn't charge too much when I had him recover the freon and replace it when I was done fixing the compressor.

Kewl thanks. That's not too far I find. Id like to get a leak test done so I can find out what's leaking, I know the evaporators are common, it's just removing the dash that takes awhile.

The guy is a one man shop. IIRC his name is Randy. Was talking to him for a quite a while one day. He strikes me as the type of guy that has had a few different careers and then got back to doing auto repair stuff "just because". He knows/likes 4.0 XJs and by extension most Jeeps. Or maybe I was reading too much into what he was saying.

At any rate, easy going guy, very intelligent, won't take advantage.

Good luck.

Randy was a tech at a Chryo dealer in the past, so he does know a thing or two about Jeeps. The name of the place is Class A Auto but I don't have the number handy.
