Add one more CJ to the fleet

Hello all.
new to the ovo
been a jeep owner for sometime now but always stock
now its time move up the mud pit and run with the big boys
right now I am 3 weeks into a summer long overhaul on my 84 cj7

the plan 350 tbi vette motor sitting on a stand just waiting to purr
np 205 x-case still not 100% have a dana 300 as well
th 350 3spd auto have one but theres 2 buggy's being built i may need to find another
axles leaning towards full width dana 44 but still need to get
so far things that...

I'd skip the 205 and go D300 as depending on what bolt pattern the 205 has, the 300 will be easier to clock. It's also a little easier to put back in. I've got a racetrack 205 in my CJ, and I hate how low it hangs as well as how heavy it is. The 2:1 low isn't the greatest either and you can get lower gears for the 300. My 2 cents.

I really should have thought this through before picking a screen name. As for my advice, keep in mind that I bought this abomination that is my CJ the way it is, and managed a total of 1 hour breakage free on the trail in, oh, 3 years of ownership.

with only an hour without breaking something have you ever thought about changing your screen name?
well I've jumped right into build mode now going to change over to the build threds
i know im new but it good to keep things in the right spot
