Hey,
Suggestions on where to get an alignment in Ottawa on a lifted GC with 31" tires?

Midas wont touch it, Deals 4 Wheels wont do it before next week (Really need it done this week) and Frisby is just too busy to even talk to me

Canadian Tire on Carling. Ralph runs a tight, high tech ship. They can align anything I'm certain.

When I called that frisby the phone just rang and rang and then stopped. No answering machine even. Frankly I'm getting tired of the lack of customer service from all the fribies.

Called, they said they only had one guy working there that might be able to do it. But he wont know until they have it in the air

Oh, and 31's are not Large :flipoff:

I totally agree and yet when I say 31 all these places are like wow that's big!
I'm sure my FIL's pick up is 31 stock, so if they are having issues with 31 how do pick ups get it done?!

Gary's Automotive said they can probably do it.

Ya the Frisby in Kanata didn't do good job on my Xterra I took it back to them 3 times to get the steering wheel straight and it is still off to the left.

Metro did my 31's but it was on my TJ. When I asked they didn't even blink. May be more expensive but at least it'll get done.

I think the biggest reason why is the larger tires are not a flat causing some alignment machines to not be able to accurately dial in the camber.

But being that it is solid axle, isn't the only thing to adjust the toe in?

Depending, if it is like a TJ you can adjust the toe and also caster.

I have my oll tj with 33s done by me - no problems whatsoever, the G done by me - again no prob, so your best bet again - it is me :).
And when calling the shop for appointment DONT mention anithing about tire size, lift and such, leave this for me.
