I personally have not, but have heard it is a good time. Grumpy ran in it last year for some fun, Jimbog has done it a bunch of times and a few of our older members are around it. They would need to speak up on it, but it is a spectator spectacle :)

I went for the first 2 years, it was a real redneck show back then. Now, it's not so bad and has a decent security crew from what I hear. Jim Bog & Jim Williams (both current/past members) run the obstacle course as mentioned above. I'll be in Haley Station helping with a roof tomorrow (aka drinking beer), so I'll miss it again.

From their front page:
PARK REGULATIONS:

ALL ALCOHOL BEVERAGES MUST REMAIN AT YOUR CAMPSITE.

NO GLASS BOTTLES OF ANY KIND.
ALL VEHICLES MUST REMAIN PARKED UNLESS COMPETING OR LEAVING THE PARK GROUNDS.
HELMETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

Those drunk kids of ATVs must be really bad to need a helmet just to walk around the park :lmao:

I'd like to go in July or September and try out the obstacle course, reminds me of UTNL.

Well I just called about the mud bogs..guess its not really competition just a big bog to play around in...gonna call about the obstacle course and the 4x4 Drags..not sure if they are on flat or in 2 mudholes of some sort???? was looking for some sort of an organized bog run ..ya know point and shoot and go through some slop see who makes it through or the farthest..lol....and have something to pull me out when and if I get stuck..not sure if this is that kind of event now...

If anyone has amplification on types of races etc let me know.

thanks

The drags are on the flat ground some mud but not deep you wont get stuck in it they have light trees to tell you when to go, and ya its just a big mud pit at the back of the property that everyone goes to play in. Check out the gallery on the site you'll see the 4x4 drags.

Thanks for all your answers folks...more of a spectator place for me I am thinking...was looking for more of a mud run type deal, danford lake style...this is not the place..and my daughter got a nasty sunburn today at school so gonna keep her hiding from the sun for a bit...I wont be making it.

Little black ranger did ok, third place in the small class on Saturday. Trophy and $100.00 bucks. You should have came back on Sunday, only 4 trucks ran in the small class, no trucks in the big class, so we devided up all the money for 1-4. 1st place took home a trophy and $400.00 bucks!! second was $300.00 third was $200.00 and 4th got $100.00. This was the last time we are going to put the Obsticle course on, The only way it will happen again, is if someone else steps up to the plate and takes it over. It is lots of fun but lots of work.
