Do it all the time.
There are no headaches...
GST and PST is all you will have to worry about 95% of the time, as long as the product(s) are manufactured in a NAFTA country (US/Mexico).

The club does have a box at the UPS store in Ogdensburg and to cover the cost members who use it must pay the club $10 extra per year. This will get your name on the list which they do check.

this thread was not intened to be a discussion about p.o boxes. who uses them and is allowed and what not!!! that should be a personal conversation not a public one!!!

It was to clarify and ask IS IT WORTH IT ???? to order direct from states, as I have never gone that route due to complications at the border. In past builds I have just sourced locally or elsewhere in Canada.

Sounds like it was to me. All we were doing is giving you an option that could save you money which seems to be part of your question.

As for is it worth it that's a personal choice. I don't like to because it's extra hassle and time for me, especially if I have to do a return. I'd rather let a Canadian retailer deal with customs and returns. It costs a little more but I'm getting more service for it and supporting local business.

my point exactly, with the 90's pricing, watching prices going up on the canadian sites, and dont get it seeing the dollar going up as well!!!

I order stuff from the US, and thanks to the brokerage fees that John mentioned, the wife and I make sure it's sent USPS or we don't bother ordering (I don't have a valid passport at the moment to pick things up). No nasty surprises that way, but we order smaller items. Anything larger (wheels, tires, etc), I'd look at the PO box idea. Is the extra time and gas spent driving to the border to pick up stuff worth it? Repeated trips if the shipment arrives in pieces at different times? I do my best to shop around and try to find a Canadian dealer first, try haggling with them a bit, then head to the US if is just isn't available.

I agree with John. Most stuff is definetly worth getting shipped to a PO box in the states. However i just got all my stuff from National 4WD due to the rush i was in and the lack of a passport :banghead: Danny gave me great deals and really took care of me. So if you do end up not going to the states defiently give them a call.

well my pasport aplication just went out, was just thinking of doing big ticket items. Like PSC steering kit, axle, atlas 4 spd and drive shafts.

Every time I talk to them the prices are so left feild I decided to give up!!!
