the trip and details.
well we spent 9 hrs in the emergency room at val dor because al was swelling up , and its not because he liked us and was away form home. lol.
he was bitten by whatever at spring fling. so he went home.
john and i carried on to wash-a-gan-ish and chissasibi, raddisson, we had a good time.
they have all the video and pics
hears what i learned "if you have no business on first nations land you have no business being there"
the toyota used 1/3 less fuel than the johns jeeps and was heavier that the jeep.
weather sucked but no bugs at all not alot of friendly encounters there and everyones eyes were on us.
people drove by just to have a look at us. way to many police cars for the size of town at wash-a-gan-ish and the checkpoint
at the entrance of town was something odd, guess they dont have to let you in, i dont know....
this is an nonstop trip of 16-17 hours straight driving stoping only for gas if you can handle that. in the toyota it was easy.
and we did do the hydro quebec tour of thier facilitiy.
big alternator turned by water...... rally thats all it is.
and thats it. ill talk to al to post up some pics .....thanks for asking.

sounds like an adventure and not the place for a break down.
the wife and i were planning the translab highway this year for the annual trip down east but now i'm thinkin about a straight shot to north sydney on the boat and over to the rock ,with buggy in tow of coarse:)

i had em all then my computer got a virus so john and al has em now if they dont post up ill get copies and post up within a couple of days.
that james bay road was tempting so so many logging roads going into the bush. but with only 2 turcks i would not risk it, there is litterly no one around.
on the way back i travelled over 700 km and 4 tractor trailers passed me going the other way, not one passanger car or anything

Still sounds like a kool adventure, sucks about Al and the bite.. but best to play it safe when heading to the land of no where. You would think they would be more friendly up there then that.. i am a bit surprised.. oh well, still a kool trip.
