Autoenginuity

Anyone use autoenginuity, PC based OBDII code reader?
Having trouble with it "seeing" the truck, 97 F350 PSD. Laptop finds it, if it's on AC power, not on battery.
Have not tried it on a different vehicle .

I have one, never have had an issue with it. I would try it on another vehicle, and check your power and ground at the connector

On battery power, does your laptop shut down power to peripherals? That could be the culprit.

Check in the bios it may be in there.
