how big are you going that you'll need beads? Some people use airsoft pellets available at Crappy Tire...

In my Truxus I first used the true tire beads/sand from JP Tire in Stittsville, about 15 bucks a *tire* around 5 years ago. Last time I mounted them I had them use air soft pellets. I bought the 1kg container (20 bucks) and put 1/4 of the beads in each. It seemed to work well.

I use the airsoft pellets in my 35" Krawlers and they're working good. I only used 1/2 the container for all 4 tires.

I used 10 Oz of BB's in each of my 36" SX's I did not use air-soft cause I heard people say they break down to dust over time but I have no personal experience on this.

You can buy Dynabeads at the Motorcycle performance shop in Vars. It's where I got mine. Dynabeads are ceramic, so no rusting, corrosion or disintegrating.

I bought mine direct, at the time nobody local was selling them. Came right to my door via post.
