Bought u bolt flip kit , horrible fitment. would you run this?

Bought this flip kit from a fabricator in the US.Its claimed to be for 86-95 Toyota rear axles. 2 problems...the plates are not drilled wide enough and the u bolts ID measure 3.5" when they are supposed to be 3". Would you run these? I dont think I will..

Any idea where to get a set of 3" u bolts? I'll drill the plates myself if I have too.

Malmberg for u-bolts, and no, I wouldn't run that. Either re-drill the plate or pick up a new piece of plate and make one. With that much of my own effort, I'd be returning it for a refund though.

Malmberg wants 13$ a bolt. Found some online at princess auto 9/16 3" id same length that i need 11.99$ the pair!

TDL. East end on hawthorne. Or for us west end guys TDL on cardevco rd. Thwy make whatever size u need

u bolt being 1/2" wider should not be a problem because as you tighten them up they will automatically move in and that gap will disappear.
as for the spring plates, well id just make those holes work so the u bolt are straight and weld a thick washer over the hole your going to make bigger to straighten things up.
nothing ever fits 100% so make it work.
