Buying a mig (advice)

NOW where do I get those Argon mix tanks.

Bought a Lincoln 175 Weld pack 230 v not the dual drive ones but hey couldnt beat the price for what im doing. But now where do I get the tank. Thanks guys!

You can do what you need, use gas for Body work, and Flux Core for structural like cages, etc...

Use at least a 20 AMP circuit and don't use an extension cord and you will have no problems welding 1/4" stuff...

Yup, but you need to find out what AMP rating the circuit breaker on the plug is rated at...

Typical plug (at least my house) is 15 AMP which this welder will constantly blow. I run mine on a 40 AMP Plug.

thanks for the advice. looks liek the mig with gas goes to 5/16's should be good for everything i want to do when im more experienced....NOW time to burn the house down..lol

John do you use flex on structure or just gas if its up to 5/16. Just learning from everyone.
