So i am looking into chromo shafts. Probably just stub shafts. Really getting tired of ovaling the ears.
There are so many options out there. So what have you guys heard or used?

G2 seems the cheapest as of now around $100 each but are they any good?

So what have you fellow heep guys been running/heard about?

I've had good luck with my yukon shafts.

Also, a plus is Danny at PJF is a dealer if you have any issues.

Just a question, are the stubs weaker than the main shaft at the ears? Is the extra cost for a full set worth the saved labour if a main fails?

Ive been thinking about this. I have been through 3 stub shafts now and never an inner. So i think it is safe to say the outer is weaker. I believe they are the same as a D30. However once i fix the stub shaft issue my concern would be that the inner then becomes an issue.

I might have to bite the bullet and change out for full chromo's.

I ordered full Yukon shaft kit today! Decided that the new tires are going to be adding that much more stressvto the axles and I don't want to fawk around.
Apparently they have a lifetime warranty limited of course. Hope to not ever have to use it though.
