Are coil overs suitable for a vehicle that will see service as a daily driver??
Certainly. In basic principle / operation they're no different than any other system - a spring and a damper (shock). many sports cars use coil-overs - albeit short ones not like the long travel versions. No reason long travel can't be streetable though. One issue is - they are so easily customizable that there are a lot of ways to get it wrong, and then people blame the tool.
Are coil overs temperature (i.e. -30 deg C) friendly??
Same as any other damper, they will be affected by temperatures. Not particularly any more/less.
Will they tolerate salt spray as well as any normal suspension part???
Depends if you mean as well as or as poorly as any other :flipoff: To keep them looking good will take quite a bit more maintenance than your average cnadian tire painted shock. And there's also the fact that they cost a bunch so when they get ratty you feel bad. Also, you ca';t stop the springs and sliders from rubbing the body - so, no, not the best for a harsh salt-spray environement (although I can attest that they still work fine even when looking ratty)
What's typical turn around on getting a replacement part/component?
Polyperformance have great service, good prices, and any part you could need. Turnaround same as any other part ordered from Cali.
