Crag Lake Sunday!!

As the title says Crag lake on Sunday, we are just running in and back out, as we have a Jeep running full size axles, and people who don't feel like beating their trucks up. Being that the conditions might be questionable with all the rain falling on leaves and mud I am calling it as 33" and locked at least one end. Of course if you have that then you probably already have tow points as you should. Leaving Tim Hortons/No Frills on O'brien Rd in Renfrew @ 9:30 we should be at the dam parking...

Damn it. :banghead:

Been driving for over a week with the new lift, and the steering box decided to start flopping around. Got a stiffener on order, but doubt it'll get here in time.

Have fun.

I sheared all 3 bolts off on mine on the weekend. Put it back together after driving home for parts (couldn't get the bolt stubs out) and then went back out wheeling! Thanks for the help Marek.

Not really - although I did (re)learn that even braced, when it comes to x-members, .120 wall tube is NOT "good enough" :clue:
The x-member for my rear lowers ended up bending in towards the t-case, and apparently it made for quite the light-show for Dwayne and Steve riding behind on the way back out to the Dam :flipoff:

Other than that, the rig performed very well, although the mixer still needs to be tuned a bit better and I have to add another quart or two to the tranny for the steep inclines :glasses:

EDIT: WTF are my manners? Thanks to Dwayne and Marek for inviting me out. It's been pretty much 5 years since I've been out wheeling, and it felt good to feel that rumble again - even if it did mean that some people kept wondering where the forklift was hiding in the trees :D
