Hi All;
Does anyone know if there is a flange that can be used on the outputs of a dana 300? I want to go away from the yoke outputs.
Thanks

There are flanges available - I don't recall offhand what the Spicer # is for flanges for the stock outputs, but there are also a few aftermarket ones available online for upgraded outputs. A search of the Dana Spicer site will net you the #'s you need http://www2.dana.com/expert/

Why do you want to get away from the stock yokes? Unless you're going to be installing a driveline brake, there's not much merit in it (that is if you're doing it "just cause"). IMHO, having run both yokes and flanges, yokes are easier and generally cheaper to replace....

Agree. I might consider changing from strap style to u-bolt style (forget what D300 had) but otherwise I don't think shortening your shafts for flanges is a worth while gain. Not a negative - just no gain that I can think of.

Yeah I switched over to u-bolt from strap for the extra strength when I put the doubler in which means I did have to buy a yoke for the output of the NP231 Doubler and IIRC they were $75 or so, I think I also had to buy one for the output of the D300 as it was strap too and I am using a early Bronco driveshaft. BTW those of you buying from Malmbergs I did mention when I was there that I was from OVO and did get a bit of a discount.

The D300 uses yokes or flanges that fit a D44. I got one that fits Toyota drive shafts for my D300 from Jesse at High Angle Driveline so I can use an IFS mini truck front CV shaft in the rear of my CJ.

Mini T nailed it, the D300 is going in the tracker, with Toy drive shafts. I need a flange that I can bolt the shaft to.
Thanks for the High Angle lead, I'm ordering a pair.

does anyone know what flange style is on an isuzu rodeo? they come with D44's in the rear so technically they should fit.
