Alright pulled my motor tonight by myself (second engine since Sunday), started at just before seven stopped for supper in there 5 hours not bad right??? Wrong!!! Pretty well 3 hours of that was working on the top 2 bolts on the transmission and actually 2.5 hours just on one :banghead: and actually my Dad had stopped in at just after 9 and when he saw how frustrated I was came back up and helped me get the last one out.
I had heard people complain before on forums about the stupid inverted...

Ya those bolts really suck. You better get to it to be feady for friday lol

Ps. I'm ready. Axle is back together and good to go

Yeah they had them on my TJ also. i chewed them up also, was abe to go one size larger on them. I have heard that the cherokee's are even worse to get to though.

Yeah, they suck on XJs. When we parted out that grey truck at Dan's house we ended up pulling the whole drivetrain and separating the parts in the laneway. Even with access the bitches wouldn't move and we ended up using those Craftsman teeth sockets for rounded bolt heads.
