Engine swap

During the past weekend I did my TD engine swap. Here are some pictures of how the work was done.

the donor engine is OM603.961, it is not bolt on to my tranny. thats why I used the donor transmission aswell, as you can see on the pictures. OM 617 is bolt on right to my tranny but IMO is way too underpowered, thats why I opted 603

Looking at the tranny, where does the T-case bolt? Is it divorced?
What is the difference in gearing fron the G Wagen to the car tranny?
Any plans to install a snorkle in case of submersion?

There are two actaully. Both silver, Both work in the west end, but one is a 4 dr. The lady in the 4dr thinks that I am crazy now. Mitko, well he knows that I am crazy...lol

T-case is divorced, so you can implant pretty much any engine/trany combo.

dunno man, need to check, but it runs just perfect.

the snorchel from a military G wagen is already purchassed and waiting for the rught moment to be installed.

G-Wagen are way cool, been wanting one since I was a little kid.
Its unfortunate that Mercedes only sells the Gas version here.

Can't wait to see it on the trail Mitko.

What are you doing with the donor car? especially the rims. If they fit my car I may be interested in them.
