It's a road trip folks......we're 10 weeks away, but that will go by fast...start planning now for Rausch Creek, Spring 2009 Tour. Trails to suit everyone's skill and need.....Departs Ottawa, Thursday April 30th, 1pm......arrive at RC for 9pm. Primitive camping on grounds of park. Register and wheel all day Friday. Fix broken junk (me) Friday night/Saturday morning. Saturday morning, meet with the Maryland boys, wheel all day. Saturday night, party at O'Neal's Pub in Pine Grove. Sunday...

ill have to see.
i thought spring fling was on the 24th.
nut its not so i might have to choose one or the other and everyone wants to go to spring fling.
but ill see if i can make it.

i might be.
you see all year iv been building up calabogie to the guys at work and now there right into going. Rausch Creek i havent been yet so im not sure as to whats there. if its anything like paragon.......................

It's no Paragon :( Still miss that fawking place. According to Doug, We could wheel all the hard trails in 3 hours if we wanted to :) But we did Big Dogs in 6 hours so hey ;)

i hear you man. i was fortunate enough to make 6 trips to paragon and it totaly brainwashed me into this sport. im pissed and sad at the same time but ah, thats neither hear nor there. ill try RC but maybe not this goround, too many events for one months = there'll be no $$$$ left ;) for the rest of the season.

Not sure how many of you follow the Paragon forum, but the judges who ruled against Kyle in court have been charged with a whole slew of things and the guys who supposedly bought the land for the airport are linked to the charges...........there might be a time when PAP comes back......

I stopped in Hazelton on the way down to, and back from Daytona. The place is a fucking ghost town. I was talking with the counter dude at the Turkey Hill (across from the Forest Hill Inn), he said business is way down without Paragon. Says it's rare to see Jeeps now. They don't run the sandwich counter anymore as no one's buying (I guess a lot of their business there was us gearing up for a day at Paragon). I know a lot of my meals came from there when we were down, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Too bad it was such a cluster fuck. I knew something smelled wrong with that whole arport deal. Fucking assholes.

Sounds like a cool event. I can't make it but I would be really really interested in documenting it on my website. Send me some pics and a write up and I will post it on my site for sure. Just by looking at the rigs, looks like it would be perfect.

Hi Nick, it's marek here. So when are you home? I am really looking forward to this year and i bought a trailer (to go along with the truck i bought after i got home) so i am looking to travelling more this season. I am looking forward to the spring fling out at calabogie this may 24 weekend.
