i Have a built set of toys with 4cyl 4.37 gearing. lockright front spooled rear. I have an elocked 99 4runner axle with 4.30 i wanted to swap in place of the spool. is this going to jive? this will be driven to and from trails (2wd)and will really only see 4x4 offroad. i have ultmate duals 2.28 and 4.7s if this helps. thanks

If you're worried, any reason you can't put the 4.37 gear on the e-locker? Personally, I'd run it as there should be enough slip off-road. There is only a ~1.6% difference between the two after all.

I just got in from cleaning up the housing, just have to strip the factory garbage off of it. I figure its close enough, plus i'm going to run a twin stick, using 4wd when needed. At this point i'd like to not regear. I just want to get it going ... it's been epic. I like the idea of an open diff for on road manners. My taco has the diff lock too(grey wire mod so I can use it in 2wd and 4 hi), I tried it on the street like a spooled rear there was too much binding.
