Got a call from yesterday from my mom saying basically they were having like crazy down pours.. but i never thought it was going to be this bad...i have never seen hamilton flood its insane

Water was knee deep on many of the roads in Glen Cairn. There's one area of about 4 blocks that everyone's basement flooded. From driving around, I'd guess % 30 or better in general had some water in the basement.

One of the main reasons we left Kanata. The infrastructure is not designed for that much growth. Retention ponds are not designed to handle that kind of water, so it backs everything else up. Plus , I like looking down on the valley!!! I'm waiting for the 100 year flood so we can have water front property....hehehehehe!!!
