I'm looking for a set of winter tires for the blazer around a 33" tire (31"-34"). Can't seem to find any large winter tire, does anyone on here have good experience with large winter tires?

From reading on Plowsite in the past, BFG AT is one of the better large snow rated tire.

Probably the absolute best you could get are the Nokian Hakkepeliitta LT tires. However they only get to 265/75/16 or 32x10.5x16. They are pretty pricey but have a tendency to last longer than other winter tires. You can't go wrong with the BFG ATs though especially if you have any interest in doing any offroading in the winter

Hand's down BFG AT in snow, as bad as they suck in mud they are the best I have ever seen in snow, the downfalls are price and depending on the vehicle the wear. When my XJ was a dd they lasted very well as long as there was no alignment issue, as with all agressive tires misalignment destroys them fast. On my Excursion I am amazed how fast I can drive in snow storms and most importantly stop, lots of snows can get you going but don't necessarily stop or steer that well. That being said with the Excursion coming in at 8300lbs empty I was not at all happy with the wear (I run them all year) and will be trying the Rugged Trails or Long Trails next as they both seem to have decent traction and wear well. I might even go to Scorpions, as they were on the truck when I got it and were over half worn by the first winter and I was actually very impressed with them considering their tread looks like a highway tractor tread but I was towing a 3500lb snowmobile trailer with them in snow storms and was always suprised by them.

Since everyone else says the love them, I might as well too. I ran 33x10.5's on my TJ and they were great. I put 12.5's on the ram last year and the only down side to them was the cost. Damn 20" rims! :banghead:
