Gorge run June 30th.

Although Matt did a Gorge run earlier in the month there were a couple people who mentioned (myself included) that the end of the month would be better. I am setting one up. Sorry for the late notice

This is a stock accessible trail
Leaving Antrim Truck Stop at 9AM
Leaving Mervin Lane just south of Burnstown at 9:30ish

No alcohol or drugs but bring bug...

See I don't see that. Firstly I am not a member of OJC and second I don't have a facebook account (had to use the wifes). We could always start a half hour earlier or hey the more the merrier.
Anyone going? If so let me know your feelings on the start time? We could get rid of the Antrim meet and just leave Burnstown at 9. I don't care either way. It would be good to meet others.

Although I was planning on going this weekend but with the long weekend and I should have put the thread up earlier. I am thinking it would be better to move it to next Sunday. It allows more to plan for it

Helps if you dont organise it via PM. I'm not going to the camp(worked 12hrs, other bs) and I was going to go. Never mind I guess. I'll do carp.

FAWK, well then it's on. It also helps when it is organized more than a week in advance so people can work around their schedules. Which was why it was originally not going to be an offical run.
The original reason I was setting it up this weekend was for the guy who was getting his JK. He was supposed to let me know Thursday night and I hadn't heard anything. Last night he finally emailed me that he got it.

Why not just meet up with us at 930 and do a mutual? If you have a stock JK coming and only a few folks, the OVO numbers and OJC won't be that huge combined.

It's also a good way to grow some good vibes between clubs. I've not been out w. OVO mainly because trail schedules, my jeep being worked on, and a busy family life have not really jived.

Despite the constant us vs them tone we're all after the same thing.

Totally agree my biggest fear was looking at the last run we had was over 10 trucks so combined with what looks like 11 from OJC would make for a really long day. Since I put this up later in the week it looks like it will be a small number from OVO.

There is also a small group I'm bringing to the rest of the OJC group from the forbiddenjeeps.com meet n greet. So I have a feeling we will be 20 .

Almost think we should do it in waves. :D Right now if everyone goes that I know of will, OVO will comprise of
Me (98 TJ 33's)
Sy (2013 JK 4dr 35's 6" lift) He got it yesterday so he may be a little hesitant as this is his first time ever offroading.

I think we will end up being 20-25. The forbidden crew won't be there until after 930 as I am sure they will need to stop for gas and such. So if the main group leave at 930 sharp I'll catch up. No big deal if a bunch that is moving quicker then others just branch
off and continue on, Nobody will have hurt feelings. Lol
