2004 Grand Cherokee Special Edition 6cyl. Auto. Loaded

Start the engine.
Put into drive.
Can't accelerate. Push on the pedal..acts like somethings locking it no matter how hard you push down..

Drive down the road..the doors lock auto..and unlock auto..it shifts fine..just can't accelerate..
NO! Dash Lights are ON.

Now!
Start engine and its in Park..works find.. Put the pedal to the metal!
Start engine put into reverse..works fine...Put the pedal to the metal!

ME FOUND IT!!!
The Passing Gear Lever on the Transmission which is also connected to the Shift Lever was Siezed..so when your put the shifter to drive..it was locking it to passing gear..Jamming Sheet Up!!
