who knows about headers?
I'm looking to put some on my 22re to flow things a little better. I like the idea of better mid and low range power.

the Hedmans are very short. The others seem quite long. some have a single collector and others have a tri-Y design.
thoughts?

The theory behind tri-y versus 4to1 is that tri-y beefs up the mid range, 4to1 is all about high rpm.

Of the two, I'd run tri-y on a truck but have a 4to1 for my "S". Different applications (crawling vs racing).

Beyond that, you get what you pay for in most instances. Do some trolling in the forums like John said.

however I think anything would be an improvement over the stock manifold.
