Help installing t-case

Well, after struggling for a few hours last night, I figured I'd see if anyone was willing to help me put my 205 case back in the Jeep. Free :beer: (let me know what you drink) for anyone willing to help out on Monday night. I'm between Carleton Place and Almonte.

What I've always found easiest is using a couple of rachet straps. That way you can raise or lower the front/back independently.

if no one offers, see if Canadian tire rents out tranny jacks. I couldn't imagine benchpressing a 205 and tryin t line up bolt holes. Good luck!

I've tried a couple of ratchet straps to keep it on the jack...I'm guessing you mean lifting it via the straps from the frame?

Can you ratchet strap it up into the cab somewhere? What a PIA ... I did mine today. I had to ratchet strap it to the roofline to hold it in place in order to get it lined up. It's heavy and ackward, as you know ... even with a second set of hands.

Not without taking the tub off. After looking, there are also either gas or brake lines running along the top of the frame, so I don't know if I can even put a strap around the frame to help out. I'll figure something out.
