From DentMyRide:

Copied from Jeep Kings:

"Rob and Andre are on 401 rolling through Port Hope and wanted me to share the emails I have had over the last 24 hrs

It's 10pm and they just got Rob's jeep out of the water and onto land now. We left the meeting place at 6:30, unloaded at the trail head and wheeled to the recovery site arriving at around 7:45-8pm. It took over 2 hrs and Rob's jeep wasn't as far in as mine! They're giving thgeir rigs and winches time to cool down and will attempt to give mine a try. Feel free to pass this update onto the thread on JK.

Between us.. So many things running through my mind. It's pitch black outside and the mosquitos are relentless. I was in a jeep on 35's who had to turn back a 1/4 of the way in. I was having a mini internalized anxiety attack being back on the same long flooded trail section that almost claimed my life. I can't believe I swam with water logged clothes that far. Rob saved my life. If he didn't stay back with me all night and did what he did for me I would be dead. The medics were assessing me in the ambulance on a stretcher and told me that I was hypothermic and would not have survived another hour. I'm dumbfounded *that ppl are still out here. They don't even know us. Between the search and rescue team, medics and all of these guys reccovering 2 jeeps 20k in the bush with a smile on their faces... It's overwelming. I'm not worth it, but Rob deserves it. I told him to go and leave me behind and he refused and risked dying of hypothermia with me to save my life rather than make a choice that would increase his chances of saving his... I had 3 ppl who are familiar with these trails who *told me that they would send me the trail coordinates and although I never did receive them, I went ahead with the trip anyways. I spoke to and corresponded online with ppl who know the hydro cut trail. I was told that I may be a bit bored and unchallenged in my jeep. I expressed specific concern about the water tables and water crossings in the exact area I was planning to go. I was told that a pickup, or a stock jeep could easily get through the main road/trail and that the challenges were all off to the side. When enquiring about the hazards no one warned me there was little to no *cell service or about the impassable water section that was on the main trail where we ended up getting stranded... In the end, we really only have ourselves to blame for the predicament we put ourselves in. We both learned so many harsd lessons... Anyways, sorry about dumping on you about all this, but thanks for reading. BTW, I think it's 11pm now...

Andre"
