A typical battery is upwards 14.4V while the vehicle is running, so its a bit higher then normal. Could be a regulator issue or a short in the battery starting, definitely worth getting checked out however to confirm if there is or isn't any issues.
(btw i'm no mechanic so take what I say with a grain of salt just my 2c of experience with used vehicles)
