Jeep TJ Lift Kit -- On the Cheep?

Howdy All,

I've been gathering information about doing a quality 2" suspension lift on the cheep for my TJ Rubicon.

It seams that BDS Suspension is the way to go. Their 2" lift kit contains 4 springs and 4 shocks for about $415. I can't seem to find any other company that offers anything comparable for the price.

Sure I can always get spacers for the springs but I'd rather have an actual real kit that has matched springs and shocks.

Does anyone have thoughts about BDS Suspension?

Have you thought about Rough Country? They are another affordable one. I think BDS is a bit better but bang for the buck....

Also if you are a member of Jeepforum you get another 10% off.
I think PJF also sells them and they are in Canada.
For a 2" lift $400 is not cheap. $100 spacers=cheap.

If your only planning a 2" lift i wouldn't bother spending the money on a kit. Just buy the spacers and shocks. Half the price and works just as good. Use the rest of the money for gas to wheel it!

Cheap or quality ?
As the title sais "on the cheap" than go dirty cheap and buy 2" coil spacers for 26 bucks of flea-bay.
If quality - thats another and long story, I wouldnt personally bodder for 2" lift only.
