July 13-15 Cloyne. Marek and I and I imagine some of the DMR crew will be running Saturday and Sunday. If you like The Gorge imagine it on steroids. There is so many stock/modified/buggy obstacles to run it is definitely fun for everybody. Connie has had my Excursion 5k up it. We will be camping at Sherwood Friday and Saturday. Wives and kids are coming. The campground had a beach and is close to the trail. If people need to go back to the camp it is not a big deal to just jump on the access...

What are those you that not been waiting for? And those that have not been in awhile the rocks are calling your names.

Last year was fun. Great place to wheel, good place to camp (REAL close). Had a great time talking/wheeling with Kelly and Dan and others whose name I forgot.

The boy and I will be there, pending booking a site.

we have to book a site??what about just a day trip what time would we meet say saturday morning or sunday morning and where?

Till Valhalla!
booking a site is only for those that are camping this weekend, we are staying at the sherwood campground as it is only a Km or so from the trail head. You can meet us at the campground say for 0930ish. It sounds as if most day runners are coming sunday but either day is good!

If you are just meeting us for the day turn your rig around to face back to Hwy 41 and park along the highway so as not to rile up the campground owner, you should be able to see us as we are camping close to the front.

cool I would camp but I never attempted to with both kids and this weekend I have both of them with me .
I don't know how well I can handle that. So day trip or trips it will be for us I guess.
Unless I get a camper trailer, for my birthday , that would help but I doubt it ,I would have seen something like that in the yard.

It be nice to get out to run with you guys. How long of a drive is Cloyne? Is this trail drivable with a stock Jeep? I made it to craig lake.

I might be up for something local Cloyne does look a bit far. not that it wouldn't be fun. How long of a drive is it from ottawa any way?

It is a pretty good drive

http://maps.google.ca/maps?saddr=Ot...UwAnTTDHYm3S79_JLXg&oq=Cloyne&mra=ls&t=m&z=10

Yes the whole trail is doable with a stock rig. There are also lots of fun obstacles and off trail paths to follow to the big obstacles so it is easy to come over and watch the harder stuff.

So we are not camping in our normal spotsl as the electrical there was not adequate for our needs. We are on sites 37-39 and Brendan had wanted us to park our trucks up by the office because of the potential dust from the big tires. We are on our honour to drive our trucks to our site so if you do come to our site for some reason use your low range and keep that rig slow son!
For those of you meeting Sunday morning please park out on the road, we should be out there between 9-9:30.
And remember if you even walk into the park you need to let the office know even if you are just here to meet us.
