Landcruiser HZJ73 6 cyl diesel, locked, lifted - beautiful

Hi guys, posting this for a friend. A very nice JDM HZJ73 diesel 4.2 litre landcruiser, mint, ARB suspension, 9.5 inch front and rear ends with cable lockers, 5 speed and the lost goes on - over 34K invested and he is selling it for $17,500. I know how much he has into it and can attest to its condition and how good it is - no rust - no body work.

If you want one of the best 4x4's ever made this is it, it needs nothing...

How hard is it to remove the hard top on one of these trucks?

Similar to a YJ/TJ or is it more involved due to being "over built"?

I'm sitting here thinking I'll have much more than $10k into my YJ if I get around to building it... This truck would be add fuel and go.

It is a little harder to remove the roof but alot of guys do it. You have to remove the rear doors and rig up a license plate holder - I think someone out west was making rear half doors for them.

The cable locking diffs and front end cost him 5K alone plus install - I got them for him and installed them. Turn key hardcore truck, add a turbo and it really makes it a serious power machine - tons of torque - I have the same engine in my cruiser with turbo and intercooler.

Under the hardtop is an integrated rollbar for protection with the roof off it.
