Looking for Cylindrical metal?

I would like to weld to the center of my rear axle side coil plates a cylindrical raised area right in the middle to help in centering the coils. It would need to be 2 3/4" in diameter.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what i could use?

How important is the 2 3/4"? From the Loucon Stock book:

2" pipe is 2.375 OD
2 1/2" pipe is 2.875 OD
2.5 x .250 wall DOM

Bingo. The 2" would do... Do you know what the pricing is on this? Can i get it in specific lengths? I only really need about 6" or so if that.
