I have a 97 zj and my front driver ujoint is gone bad. I got a couple questions 1. how bad is it to drive it like this till at least the weekend. 2 how hard are these to change yourself 3. how much would a shop charge me to do this. I usually do my own work but this looks like it could be a PITA. Any help is greatly apreciated. Even shop recomendations would be apreciated. I live in Kanata if that helps. thanks in advance

very simple job to do, how bad is the u-joint - if it's got play i wouldn't drive it - you don't want it to let go while driving around.

Thanks for your reply. It got enough play you feel it when turning, I was thinking it wouldn't be bad just cause the ballpoint and tierod keep the the wheel in place correct?. How long do youfigure it would take to replace. I have never done a u joint before and don't know how to do them other then using a press which don't have. Thanks again I just need to get it to last till the weekend when have time to do it if it's nice
