I know it's just a patriot but I still have fun where I can. Been off roading in quite a few places but don't know any good trails. I know certain trails are kept secret but I'd love to find more.

I just finished installing a lift kit on my Patriot so it has a WOPPING 10" of ground clearance.

Here are some pics of me getting dirty.

Welcome Sean
Well what you will want to do is watch for upcoming runs that are listed as stock friendly like Carp (are we still running it?), The Gorge which would be a really good place to see what your truck can do and yet be able to remain as safe as required, Lavant (which they just did but you might end up with damage to your rockers on). Even alot of our stock friendly trails do require tow points preferably front and rear in case you do need to be extracted. Also does the Patriot actually have low range if not some of our stock friendly trails will be too much for your clutch or auto as they do require prolonged periods of precise throttle.
As I said watch for those trails to be listed and come along. If things are too much for your rig you can usually always find someone to jump in with, lots of people end up riding because of conditions or break down. That way you can come out and see if the trails we generally do are something you want to put your truck through.

I wouldn't mind leading a Carp run in October however with the amount of rain we have been having I wonder how much of it is under water? BTW, we have a meeting on the last Thursday of every month which I think is the 30th this month so show up, have a pint and let us check out this beastie :)

Thanks guys!

I do have tow point in the back and just need to install the tow hook on the front.

The FD2 pats have low but I got an FD1 with an auto stick. the gear ratio is 19:1 instead of the FD2's 14:1.

I'm pretty risky so I'd try anything until my Pat wouldn't drive any further.

marlboro forest in north gower is pretty much the only place I've been, other than sand pits and "use at own risk" snowmobile trails. no rock crawling, just some good old muddy fun!

Where is the meeting? I think I'd look out of place with my little Patriot?

I'm pretty sure they open them a couple weeks before hunting season. That was the case last year.
