New Tires

I'm looking for two sets of 4 tires; one for my DD at 265/75r16 and the other for a project which are 31x10.5r15. I'm looking for some all terrains or some mild AT/MT, nothing too aggressive.

Has anyone had any experience buying tires in the US that they can share or recommend a location? The DD I was planning on driving down with the old tires on, scrapping them, and then driving back with the new.

Tires for the project I may have to order locally as it's not on the road yet. Any good...

Tire prices are definitely up lately, that's for sure.
There is a place in Prescott called "2Kool Performance" who guarantee the lowest prices. They first need you to e-mail them a copy of a best price quote from a local tire dealer so they can beat it.
Good luck!

A lot of people look to the states and get them shipped to Ogdensburg and pick them up. Mind you that is happening a lot less now with the dollar difference.

Prior Tires and Fraziers in Arnprior have been good for pricing for me, also try Mitko at GCR on Carling.

For a good all around AT, I'm a fan of the Firestone Destination AT's as they have done great in the snow/ice with awesome wear on both the Dodge and the Trailblazer. GCR carries them, and can probably get you a good price.

Thanks for the reply fellas. I'm going to give these places a call & get some prices. I'm not sure what's involved with buying stateside or if its even worth it considering the exchange rate, but figured I'd ask. Thanks again
